Accounting

Pertinent Assessment Criteria

a) Performance in a Subject shall be acknowledged by the awarding of specific letter grades. Assessment will be continuous and will include assignments, tests, projects, practical and laboratory experiments and an end of semester examination depending on the subject. The grade for any subject will be made up of not less than 40% and not higher than 60% of course work with the balance allotted to the end of semester examination.

b) Students must complete such course requirements as form part of the continuous assessment process during the semester. Students may be required to attain a specific minimum standard of performance and participation in the continuous assessment and/or at the end of semester examination.

c) More details on the Regulations governing Assessment including the Assessment grades are provided in Section B of this manual.
